Although few large businesses exist, there are more than 80,000 people with productive potential working in agriculture, small stores and service-related businesses.
The organization's geographic coverage includes the departments of Boaco, Chontales, Zelaya Central, Managua and the Atlantic Coast, where it has positioned itself as a rural-oriented microfinance institution that provides credit at lower costs.
