Survey Tells Us How to Improve
Global Perspectives | Fall 2009
In August 2009, Global Partnerships issued our first-ever online
survey to learn how to improve our communication efforts. More
than 500 donors, subscribers and web visitors responded (thank
you!). What did we learn? For one, the majority of you gave Global
Partnerships high marks for conveying the impact of contributions
and investments in the lives of the people we serve. Also, 35 percent
said you learned of Global Partnerships through a friend or family
member and an additional 13 percent first learned of us by attending
the annual Business of Hope Luncheon.
Many of you also shared valuable insights on how we can improve,
including featuring more stories and brief videos of borrowers
who have benefited from our programs, updates on
our programs, and reports on trends in the microfinance industry.
Suggestions for new directions varied—some urged us to dive into “Web 3.0,” while others suggested we find “innovative new ways for
donors to become involved.”
Your feedback is helping us shape plans for an upcoming revamp
to our homepage, as well as changes to our email and print
communications. Stay tuned, and send any further comments to Hana Rubin (206.652.8735).
