A Milestone in Pictures: Microfinance-Health pilot Launched
In October 2009, Global Partnerships, PATH and Pro Mujer launched an initiative to retool Pro Mujer's health programming in Nicaragua to be financially sustainable, reach more clients and offer a focused package of health services and preventive education to address key health challenges for women in Nicaragua.
A year later, in October 2010, the project marked an exciting milestone: Pro Mujer launched a pilot in León, Nicaragua, to test the new health model with 5,000 clients.
The slideshow below tells the story in pictures.
