Through our innovative funding model and powerful partnerships, Global Partnerships has been able to significantly increase the number of people served through our work, and the quality of the services they receive.
Since 2006, we have significantly increased the number of people we're reaching through our microfinance partners in Latin America. These organizations share our commitment to serving people most in need--including women and the rural poor--with multiple tools to help them progress out of poverty.

We partner with a highly select group of microfinance institutions and cooperatives in Latin America with affordable growth capital, helping them reach the most underserved segments of the population with loans and other services. We select our partners based on rigorous criteria, including financial strength, competitiveness, and commitment to social impact.

Global Partnerships is laying the foundation for even greater impact. We are exploring ways to help our microfinance partners serve as a distribution channel for the most effective products and services beyond microfinance, from health education to agricultural training.
