Global Partnerships invites you to accompany us on an incredible journey to Latin America to experience firsthand how microfinance changes the lives of borrowers and PartnerTrip participants alike.
Designed for donors who have made or who are considering making a personally significant gift to Global Partnerships, our PartnerTrips provide an authentic encounter with entrepreneurs who are improving their lives with the help of microfinance. As we visit their homes and businesses, you will have the opportunity to hear their stories, observe their crafts, and talk with them about their struggles and successes--all the while gaining a deeper appreciation of the day-to-day reality in which they live.
In both rural and urban settings, we will take you off the beaten path to see our in-country partners at work and meet the leadership of these organizations. You will also witness the innovative ways our partners target the root causes of poverty as they demonstrate the business solutions we help them deliver. Throughout the journey you will gain a unique understanding of the cultures, people and landscapes of these beautiful countries.
Since 1994, Global Partnerships has been escorting travelers to Latin America and currently offers PartnerTrips to Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
For more information on how to apply for participation in a future PartnerTrip, please contact Chris Megargee (206.652.8717).

“Before the trip I read accounts of borrower success and had conversations with staff. But when you sit in the home of a client, listen to their story and see the pride in their faces, it is abundantly clear how much difference a small amount of opportunity can generate.” |
