Business of Hope Volunteer Opportunities

Through the generous sharing of their time and talent, volunteers are key to the creation of a successful Business of Hope Luncheon. We are looking for volunteers to serve in a variety of roles in the weeks prior to the event, on the day-of, and in the days immediately following.

Pre-event   
Attend one or more pre-event work parties to prepare gift bags, assemble information packets, build-up centerpieces, organize nametags, and assist with pre-event production. These work parties will take place primarily in September and October, mostly on Saturday mornings and possibly some weekday evenings.

Day-of

On the day of the event (Tuesday, October 28), we will need volunteers to work in shifts between 8:00am and 2:30pm to help out with event logistics. Volunteers will help set-up the registration area, assist with decorating tables, welcome and usher guests, clean-up afterwards, and help the event to run smoothly in a variety of ways. We request a minimum of a four hour commitment on this day.

Post-event

On the days immediately following the event we will need help with writing thank-you letters, preparing follow-up mailings, organizing and storing event materials, and responding to information requests. These opportunities will take place during business hours.
