Volunteer Opportunities

Through the generous sharing of their time and talent, volunteers are key to the creation of a successful Business of Hope Luncheon. We are looking for volunteers to serve in a variety of roles in the weeks prior to the event, on the day-of, and in the days immediately following.

Pre-event   
Attend one or more pre-event work parties to prepare gift bags, assemble information packets, build-up centerpieces, organize nametags, and assist with pre-event production. These work parties will take place primarily in September and October, mostly on Saturday mornings and possibly some weekday evenings.

Day of

On the day of the event (Wednesday, October 12, 2011), we will need volunteers to work in shifts between 8:00am and 2:30pm to help out with event logistics. Volunteers will help set-up the registration area, assist with decorating tables, welcome and usher guests, clean-up afterwards, and help the event to run smoothly in a variety of ways. We request a minimum of a four hour commitment on this day.

Post-event

On the days immediately following the event we will need help with writing thank-you letters, preparing follow-up mailings, organizing and storing event materials, and responding to information requests. These opportunities will take place during business hours.
