Ricardo Visbal Ágredo

Ricardo Visbal manages long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with all GP’s microfinance partners in Latin America. He works directly with current and potential new partners in Bolivia, Colombia, Haiti, Guatemala and Chile. He searches for financially self-sustaining microfinance institutions (MFIs) with excellent social performance.  Ricardo earned degrees in industrial engineering and an M.B.A. in his native Colombia, and has more than 12 years of experience in financial, administrative and information systems. He also acquired expertise by evaluating MFIs and implementing core-banking and other information system solutions while working with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, the largest development bank in the Central American region.
