Lara Puglielli
Vice President, Enterprise Development

Lara Puglielli joined Global Partnerships in September 2009, and currently leads GP’s initiatives with MFI and strategic partners to increase program impact and business value through high impact non-financial services.  In close coordination with GP’s Social Investment team, she cultivates and maintains strategic relationships with Latin American microfinance institutions (MFIs), ensuring synergy between partners in GP’s Fund portfolio and partners that deliver, or want to deliver, other services such as business or health education, access to health services, clean energy products, or value chain services alongside financial services. Prior to joining Global Partnerships, Lara spent 13 years with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), where she held positions of increasing leadership, from Internal Auditor (global), Program Manager developing new education, health and microfinance programs in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, to Country Representative for Nicaragua and as Deputy Regional Director for Program Quality for the Latin America and Caribbean region. Lara holds a B.A. from Grinnell College, and an M.A. in International Development and an M.B.A. from Yale University.
