Tara Murphy Forde
Director of Fund Performance

Tara Murphy joined Global Partnerships in January 2009, where she manages the collection of data and the production of performance reports on our microfinance institution (MFI) partners. Tara has a rich background of academic and professional experience in the areas of poverty, gender and conflict. Prior to joining Global Partnerships, she was an account manager at a database-marketing agency for nonprofits and served as VP of development for Fusion International, a nonprofit organization that works to alleviate poverty, mitigate armed conflict and promote dignity for marginalized communities. As a Fulbright Scholar, Tara researched the gender-differentiated effects of internal displacement in Colombia and provided international support and consulting for the Fusion Colombia branch. Tara holds a B.A. in political science from Vassar College and has studied in Cuba and Northern Ireland.
